INDEX // 27 FILES: 14 DECLASSIFIED · 13 UNDER SEAL Case 01: ENERGY AUDIT PLATFORM. Sector: ENERGY. ERA 03 // EVOLUTION. Status: BUILT // SINCE Q3 2026. Problem: Energy compliance reports fall due on a fixed schedule, rebuilt by hand each cycle from meters and spreadsheets. Nothing showed where the power went. Approach: They scoped a reporting tool. Metering came first: one measured record serves both the audit and the savings work, instead of two systems. System: Sensors on every switchboard feed one record. Audits draw evidence from it, and the optimisation module runs against the same readings. Problem: Someone in every meeting stops listening in order to write. What gets written is thin, and a week later nobody can say who agreed to what. Approach: Sending the room to a transcription service was the easy build. This one runs on the machine it listens from, and writes into the notes you already keep. System: The recorder follows a meeting, separates the voices, and files each part where it belongs. Ask it mid-call and the answer is on screen before the pause ends. Status: BUILT // SINCE Q1 2026. Problem: Large sites draw from the grid and their own solar. One unwatched spike past the contracted ceiling puts a penalty on the bill, and nobody sees it coming. Approach: A rule engine only catches the peaks somebody predicted. What went in instead watches the site, weighs what it sees, and acts on its own. System: The controller holds demand under the ceiling around the clock and clears staff requests for load. It wakes someone only for what it cannot decide. Problem: A solar programme across a few towns paid households a rebate. Production, consumption, and meter records sat in three places, so no home saw its own offset. Approach: The monitoring spine came first: production and consumption read against each household's net-metering record. Trading simulation was left for later. System: Inverters and meters report from every participating town. Residents read production, consumption, and offset on web or mobile; admins flag vulnerable homes. Declassify file. 06 CASE 06 // SOLAR OFFSET MONITOR ENERGY · ERA 02 // MODERN DECLASSIFIEDDECLASSIFY Case 07: DEALER STOCK CONTROL. Sector: TELECOM. ERA 01 // TRADITION. Status: BUILT // SINCE Q2 2025. Problem: Dealer stores ran stock on spreadsheets. New inventory was added on trust, and nobody could see staff sales or subsidy targets across the network. Approach: The catalogue came first, stock verified against the owner's record before it counted. Sales, commission, and top-up were scoped onto it, not built. System: Staff check physical stock against the owner's registration before it enters inventory. Sales and subsidies log against one catalogue, per dealer code. Declassify file. 07 CASE 07 // DEALER STOCK CONTROL TELECOM · ERA 01 // TRADITION DECLASSIFIEDDECLASSIFY Case 08: TICKET GATE PLATFORM. Sector: LEISURE. ERA 02 // MODERN. Status: BUILT // SINCE Q2 2025. Problem: Every attraction ran its own ticketing and its own gates. Holiday crowds arrived in bursts, and each vendor absorbed that spike alone. Approach: They asked for ticket sales. Shared infrastructure went in instead, with the gate as an optional edge. A vendor pays for hardware only when the gate needs it. System: Every vendor sells on one shared platform and keeps its own payment path if it has one. Where a turnstile is fitted, the gate reads the ticket bought online. Status: BUILT // SINCE Q1 2025. Problem: Bid teams checked four or five procurement portals by hand. Tenders surfaced on day nine of a fourteen-day window, and the winnable ones got missed. Approach: They asked whether AI could write their proposals. The problem split in two instead: scheduled monitoring first, scoring second, and no proposal writer. System: The monitor sweeps the portals daily and scores each match against the company profile. Bid or no bid, the verdict names the blocking criterion. Problem: Merchants ran on one-off discounts with no way to reward the customers who came back. Nothing recorded who returned, so a regular looked like a stranger. Approach: Three flows and no more: enrol, earn on purchase, redeem at checkout. Tiers and reward rules are configurable, so promotions differ store by store. System: Customers earn and redeem points in a single app. Merchants read a running record of who returns and how often, and set the reward rules against it. Status: BUILT // SINCE Q4 2024. Problem: Bins, blowers, and cutters sit across service areas with no shared record of where they are. Units go missing, and nobody hears about it until the next round. Approach: They asked for equipment tracking. One record covers both sides instead: a tag on the unit and a code the public can scan, not two channels that never meet. System: Each unit carries a SIM-less GPS tag and a scannable code. Crews read live location and condition; the public reports a broken or stray unit on the spot. Problem: Government reporting covered consumption and production at every building. Version one worked, but each new site meant standing up a fresh system to run. Approach: They asked for the next version of their system. One platform for every site went in instead of another rollout, rebuilt rather than extended. System: One platform now watches offices, factories, malls, and shoplots. Teams read live consumption and production per site, and reporting comes off the same record. Status: BUILT // SINCE Q2 2022. Problem: Nobody was required to verify a corporate green claim. Forest loss went unrecorded, and what evidence existed sat scattered across separate reports. Approach: They described a monitoring platform. A publishing site went in instead: research goes up fast, cites its sources, and needs no pipeline to maintain. System: A public site their researchers publish to directly. Findings on forest loss and corporate claims stay up, sourced and searchable, years after launch. Problem: Aid went out on paper and the volunteers rotated. Many recipients had no formal ID, so the same person could collect twice while another was missed. Approach: Recipients had no ID to check, so recognising them on sight replaced issuing cards. Built for low-cost Android handsets and patchy signal. System: Volunteers logged each handout against a recognised face, so a repeat collection flagged at once. Coordinators could see stock and distribution across sites. Problem: A large corporate tower sold parking passes by hand. Applications came through scattered channels, approvals stalled at sign-off, and applicants heard nothing. Approach: They asked for a building management system. What shipped was the part that was actually failing: pass types, eligibility, and approval chains modelled as data. System: Applicants bought and tracked passes online. Selected categories ran through approval before issue, and staff worked from a live register of active passes. Status: BUILT // SINCE Q3 2019. Problem: Rural classrooms had no library and little bandwidth. Reading apps assumed a personal device and a steady connection, so they were no use there. Approach: One tablet shared by a class, not an account per child. Content downloads when the signal allows and stays readable after it drops. System: One catalogue served two audiences. Teachers assigned by reading level and followed progress; paying readers opened the rest on their own devices.
